PRAYER FOR EGYPT

May our Compassionate and Eternal God bless Egypt, guard it against all evil, guide it in wisdom.

May the leaders and the peoples of Egypt be united and God-fearing, happy, peaceful and prosperous, preserving the good heritage of the past, and building for the nation’s future on foundations of righteousness and love.

May the Episcopal Cathedral Church of All Saints’ Cairo continue to be a place of prayer for all nations and a place of peace for all peoples.

We ask this in the name of our God and Father through Jesus Christ our Lord now and for ever. Amen

Ramez Atallah requests prayers for friends of his sister in Indiana, Irma and Ken Flora. They have lost their daughter and 2, small grandchildren in a fire!  (They also have a son, who has 2 children.)  The only survivor was the husband of the daughter, Brian. Please pray for God's deep and supernatural comfort.  How else could one survive such a tragedy?

For Magdy who looks after and tends the cemetery in Old Cairo who has a growth in his back and is thus partly disabled and his deaf grandson (12) , who helps him in his work.

For Mike Potters continued recovery and adaptation to living after his car accident. He has a specially adapted car, which has made a huge difference.   He can get his wheelchair in and out of the car himself, so can get around independently, even taking the children out alone.  He walks  with the aid of  a frame and calipers, and has determination and a positive attitude.
