Menouf has two educational institutions run by the Episcopal Church: 1) the Episcopal Primary School and 2) an adult education programme, (an Off-Campus Program of the Center for Adult and Continuing Education of the American University in Cairo.)

Hospital. A major renovation and expansion programme is planned. The work will replace existing wards with two, three and four bed rooms each with its own bathroom and will include a new five bed intensive care unit and delivery room. Completion late 2007.

The Primary School, founded some 70 years ago, and has a high reputation in the community. The Rebuilt 4-storey building and was officially opened by the Governor of Menufiya in 1977. .

There is Primary School has a large pre-school section, with children aged three to five enrolled in 2 "Nursery", 2 first-year Kindergarten and 2 second-year Kindergarten classes. The maximum class size is 40 children, so there are up to 320 children in this section of the school.

The Head Teacher for the pre-school, is responsible for all pre-school classes and the staff of 10 teachers. Primary school classes range from Grade One to Grade Five, with 2 classes for each grade. The total number of pupils is around 375, so with the pre-school numbers the total roll is about 700 children. The primary school staff totals some 25 teachers. As well as core subjects, the School offers computer classes, art and music. In the annual music competitions, the pupils have almost invariably won in Menufiya and have then competed at "Republic" level against schools from all over Egypt. Academic success each year in the government exams has also marked the school as one of high quality.

The Adult Education Programme began in June, 1998. The Community Service Center in Menouf, run by the Episcopal Church, has a contract with the American University in cairo to offer courses in General English, Computer Studies and Business Administration.

Through a generous grant from the Irish Embassy, a well-equipped computer lab was installed, and computer courses began in April, 2001. Recently, an Internet link has been added. Oversight of the Center's staff and responsibility for its work lie with Miss Jeanette Grimmer (Instructor/Coordinator) and Mr. Emad Fawzy (Administrator/Treasurer). All staff are part-time instructors approved by the American University in Cairo, and attend inservice training workshops. Their quality is demonstrated by their being placed on the teaching "honor roll" on a number of occasions. On the most recent "honor roll", four of our Menouf instructors were listed: Mr. Sameh Naim (Computer Studies), and Mrs. Vivien Badih, Mr. Wael Sharaf El Din and Miss Jeanette Grimmer (General English).
