Overview
The Diocesan Guest House is on the 3rd and 4th floors of the Diocesan Clergy House which is situated adjacent to the Cathedral and Diocesan offices in Zamalek, Cairo. The Guest House has 7 guest rooms, (some rooms have several beds and four of them include en-suite bathrooms). The Guest House is also responsible for three small flats used by clergy and visitors. The total number of guest beds in the Guest House is 19 although rarely are all beds occupied because many guests request a room to themselves. Two of the flats can accommodate up to 5 people and the third one is for two people.
The Guest House is very central to the city but does provide a place of relaxation and retreat for many who come to Cairo for business or pleasure. The Diocese believes that this is an important ministry and so we are seeking to fill the vacancy with someone who is sympathetic to our aims and seeks to use the Guest House as a Christian witness to the community through hospitality.
The Guest House Manager(s) is responsible to the Diocesan Executive Director and a Diocesan Guest House Committee meets regularly to agree upon operating policy.

-
To report regularly to the Guest House Committee and an Annual Report to be presented to the Diocesan Synod
-
To ensure the safety of staff and guests within the Guest House
